We at Mattress World Northwest love being involved in the community, and for us it always comes from the heart. I’ve always felt passionate about helping children. I worry most about all children having enough food, probably because I’ve been through some hard times with my own children. We managed to get through those times with help from my brother, who feels it’s important to always have food stored away. Paiton, my oldest son, still fills a grocery bag or two whenever we go to my brother’s house. Yet I realized long ago that not everyone is so fortunate, and I support the Sunshine Division as a great temporary food source for those in need.

Sean and Shari (his wife) spent years taking their son from doctor to doctor looking for answers, but for years no answers were found. Ross kept getting worse and all they got were more wrong diagnoses. Finally he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and could begin the treatments that have helped him survive and have a more normal life. After their ordeal, Sean and Shari are determined to fight for a better life not just for their son but for all children with cystic fibrosis. We hope to help every child with CF receive an early diagnosis and a better, longer life.

Everyone at Mattress World Northwest has their own passion and concerns. We are very proud to be part of a wonderful community that makes the time and effort to help others.
