Alpine Channel Firm

The Alpine Channel Firm is just one of a premium line of Aireloom mattresses offered exclusively in the Portland Oregon area at MattressWorld Northwest. Aireloom offers high-quality, firm-feeling mattresses known for luxury, motion isolation and excellent ratings with the Better Business Bureau for customer service. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the firmest possible sleep surface, the Alpine Channel Firm falls at a 3. This model is adjustable foundation friendly.

The uppermost layers are designed for temperature regulation with Tencel, wool and HiLoft (flame-resistant) fibers that breathe, dry quickly and provide a stunningly soft surface. The patented open chamber design takes conformability and comfort to new heights. All Aireloom Platinum Preferred mattresses are hand-tufted, which means the quilted surface is stretched over the base by expert craftsmen who pull the components together tightly to prevent shifting, lumping or sagging over time.

At its core, the Alpine Channel Firm mattress features individually-wrapped coils for above-average motion transfer reduction and durability. The Airegelle™ foam layer alleviates pressure points and provides localized support for back and stomach sleepers. Sleepers will find this same type of foam in the Alpine Plush, but the Alpine Firm mattress features ventilated Firm Aireluxe™ Foam (instead of Plush Aireluxe™ Foam), so it’s customized for customers who prefer a stiffer sleep surface.

The exact firmness we wanted.

- Dawn P., Glisan, OR

Very comfortable place to try a mattress. Sales people were there when needed, but not in your face. They went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and showed us all different makes, models and price points. We opted to pay a little more for the Aireloom because it offered the exact firmness we wanted. Once you try this one, you’ll be sold like we were!

Family oriented in their service.

- Robin F., Clackamas, OR

We’ve had several Aireloom beds over the years, but this is by far our favorite. The materials are top of the line, everything is made in California, and latex is just a more natural construction material. You don’t get the same level of offgassing with an Aireloom that you find on some of the cheaper mattresses. My husband used to have lower lumbar pain from an old car accident injury, but after a month on this mattress, he’s feeling much better. On a side note, we found MWNW to be more family oriented in their service compared to the big box retailers – glad we stopped in!
