Mattress World Northwest carries all major mattress types: innerspring/hybrid (coils + foam, responsive and supportive), memory foam (deep contouring, motion isolation), latex (natural, responsive, and cooling — including natural Talalay from PranaSleep and Avocado), adjustable SmartBeds (Instant Comfort®), and natural/organic options. Our sleep specialists can explain the differences and help you match a type to your sleep style.

A general guide: side sleepers typically do best with a Plush or Medium feel to cushion the hips and shoulders. Back sleepers usually prefer a Medium or Medium Firm. Stomach sleepers often need a Firm to keep the spine aligned. Combination sleepers tend to do well with a Medium hybrid. Body weight also matters — heavier sleepers often need firmer support to avoid sinking too deep. Our sleep specialists will help you find the right match in person.
